In my article below I propose that business is simple to understand if you frame it correctly. As a business owner you need to understand that there really are only 3 core functions in you r business, you need to GET BUSINESS, you need to DELIVER BUSINESS, and you need to SUPPORT BUSINESS. Sadly, businesses struggle to get all three working well with many only achieving effectiveness in only one or two of these core functions.
If you can get all three working effectively and efficiently then you will be extremely successful. If you get all three of the core functions sorted, out you will also have a sellable business. Having a solid framework with the right execution discipline is what will drive this.
